You don't need to pass anything to split: split will split on whitespace by default.
Apparently you do not need the parentheses, though it could be argued they improve readability.

No need for double quotes. A single-quoted strings don’t process ASCII escape codes, and they don’t do string interpolation while double-quoted does both.
The challenge asked for the color to be set during initialization, and not as a method call. If you were to instantiate a Ghost object and continue to use the color method as you have written then it would generate a new random color each time.
