Thanks for the Kata. It was a fun and rewarding problem. I would love for their to be a test that tries to make it time out on inputs like three strings that are all the same character repeated 1000 times. The code I wrote passed all the tests written, but I'm pretty it would halt on input like that by getting into 2^n recursion.
