How did two different people manage to write this exact same chunk of code, down to all the variable names and spacing?

The general consensus is if you can copy and paste a solution (sometimes with just a minor change) and it works, it's a duplicate. Even if the description is not the same.

Presented katas are not complete duplicates of mine. There's the whole essence of the problem is spoiled description. I remember this task from the book Verber "The Day of the Ants"=)

When your kata is a duplicate, you should unpublish it (and if possible translate the original instead) or make yours original.
