Loading collection data...
Collections are a way for you to organize kata so that you can create your own training routines. Every collection you create is public and automatically sharable with other warriors. After you have added a few kata to a collection you and others can train on the kata contained within the collection.
Get started now by creating a new collection.
Obviously needs a little polishing, but I like the concept of this one. Of course, I'm someone who adds up the value of the license plate in front of me whenver I'm driving a car, so I'm biased! :)
@Cody : Sounds much better !
Thx

( you can't change
.match()
into.split("")
if you're using" "
as a spacer .. :O )Fixed.
(I made a silly mistake myself.)
Better.
I rewrote the kata, both test fixtures and the description, clarifying inputs and scores for each group of chars. Please retry and give some feedback on this fresh version.
I rewrote the kata and solidified the specs. The author forgot to mention that she included digits in her random test strings, and no rules for them in the specs. Their charcodes are taken into account in the sum and that's the source of the discrepancy you witnessed.
I thought so too. But I wasn't about to do more testing; I want more specs first.
No... it's correct, his submit testcases are wrong;-)...
O8zsR2PQLD1
should equal 76? I work it out as 209. Am I missing something?Incompletely specified. (If there's one thing I hate, it's surprises in the Submit Tests.)
Meaning of "There should be no space between words." is unclear.
