Loading collection data...
Collections are a way for you to organize kata so that you can create your own training routines. Every collection you create is public and automatically sharable with other warriors. After you have added a few kata to a collection you and others can train on the kata contained within the collection.

Duplicate
OK, that kata officially makes it a duplicate.
sum
instead ofmaximum
is just not different enough. Please unpublish this duplicate.
I'm almost certain I've done this kata before. But finding it can take a lot of time. There's this kata from 2017; not exactly the same, but very similar.
EDIT: as of writing this comment, the author has a grand total of 26 completed kata and this kata is likely ranked somewhere between 6 and 7 kyu. It can be inferred that this raises the probability of this being a dupe.
With that considered, one way to mitigate further duplicates from happening is to raise the threshold for authoring katas. There seems to be a pattern where new users start authoring as soon as they hit the 300 honor threshold.
I'd like to flag this as an
Issue
, but I'm not sure if it strictly is.This kata lacks originality. I don't know if it's actually a duplicate of something, but it adds no challenge to CodeWars it does not already have ( in abundance ). I would like to see more original ideas in new kata.

Please enable
Node 12.x
and set that as default. There's no good reason for new kata to use obsolescent versions. No fixed tests with letters only.
Random tests never generate strings with
9
's.50 random tests is too low.
i've added note, just return 0 if there's no digit character..
