I can relate strongly. Codewars is great for learning new languages. And the trivial katas are perfekt to take a sneek peek into a random language. Solved at least one on with my phone. No keyboard or IDE needed. Installing a full IDE with testframework and all often takes a lot longer than doing a easy kata.

Clever! And thanks for the Haskell translation. -Haskell is currently becoming my favorite tool in this game.

IMO: The Haskell tests are incorrect. (Just to be sure its not my algo I implemented the same trivial algo in C# and it passed.)

• I probably spent way to mutch time trying to work around the issues in the haskell tests already and still have no solution. So I will not mark this as spoiler. -

• oh boy, I coded this today. Have a look at it now and musst admit. The nameing is so bad, it would not have passed any review. Might even be more readable in point less style.
