Collections are a way for you to organize kata so that you can create your own training routines. Every collection you create is public and automatically sharable with other warriors. After you have added a few kata to a collection you and others can train on the kata contained within the collection.

Ranks go 8kyu up to 1kyu then 1dan up to 8dan (although 2dan is max achieveable with current available katas).
what is the difference between a 1 dan and a 1 kyu? please excuse my noob status, just trying to learn.
What I meant by solutions tab is to submit solution and link to it instead of posting it as a comment.
This IS the solutions tab :D But you need to use spoiler flag anyway, because users who haven't solved it can see your comment on frontpage.
Don't post whole solutions in discourse, the solutions tab is for this, and if you do post some code or info hinting at solution mark it as spoiler.
