Collections are a way for you to organize kata so that you can create your own training routines. Every collection you create is public and automatically sharable with other warriors. After you have added a few kata to a collection you and others can train on the kata contained within the collection.

Description is kind of hard to read, it also suggests one specific solution.
They are always done like that, at least by me:-) It avoids to have a bunch of test functions; it is already rather long and the reports are the same, separated or not. You will do as you want when you author your own katas.
Note: I think it can be a suggestion, not an issue! Authors can put the tests as they want. I encourage you to see some katas with very few tests. Nevertheless I thank you for the feedback (you are one of the few who succeeded).
