Collections are a way for you to organize kata so that you can create your own training routines. Every collection you create is public and automatically sharable with other warriors. After you have added a few kata to a collection you and others can train on the kata contained within the collection.

Thank you so much!
Thanks a lot!)
'Looks like you've solved it'
Thank you.
I agree that this problem should be at least 6 kyu.
But it's not true that you need knowledge of an obscure mathematical construct. You can "just" (not that easy) follow the instructions and get the answer (look at my solution for example).
Edit: I've played with the obscure solutions so if you click on "View solution" it might not show what I was talking about.
I don't know anything about ip addresses, but while looking through the documentation I found the answer. So basically every network has a beginning ip address and an ending one. So given an ip address in a network, you need to generate the corresponding beginning and ending ip addresses and return the id of that original ip address when you do it. I'm probably explaining that entirely wrong, but the point is that the first_address and last_address are not necessarily elements of the table themselves. They are generated from the ip addresses that are in the table.
Thank you. I was getting crazy because i couldn't get one test
ranks can't be changed, and there is no half-rank ;)
It is very easy if you get a formula. There has a website to get the formula. So I think it worth 6.5kyu.
I just call it 6.5 kyu ;)
Thanks for the downvote, whoever did it.
I was not agreeing with the general kyu inflation, I was stating a fact. I actually happen not to agree with it, and think the kata ranking guidelines are, in general, not being followed.
But it's not something I can change. Authors don't get to set rank on their own kata; the community at large votes and then there's one person with appropriate honour who sets rank, mostly according to voted ranks.
I don't know. If you look at the solutions, they're not that complex, are they? And it's definitely not a 5 kyu. I might rank it 6, but definitely not 5. (I still call baum-sweet 7 kyu... that was easy solving.)
