Instructions are incomplete and language versions aren't consistent about extending some protoype/class or creating a function. It should be stated at a per language basis in the kata description.

I know that javascript methods may take no arguments. But this specific funciton is / should expecting one, and it should be written. And I didn't see in the instructions that I shold extend the String.prototype, and I can not understand why that was needed. For me, it remain very poorly written assignment, that is all.
