I created this kata thinking about my fourteen year old nephew who is learning programming
I believe he will be much more excited to learn something about his Social Security number than to create an American phone number, as in this famous Kata:

I believe learning math is not just about doing calculus

I think it's a good argument, because the Brazilian community loves codewars, and it's great to feel represented
The theme may be similar, verification codes, but the algorithms are different
I didn't understand your point about alphabet...
is it interesting to link these other katas and republish this one?

but, finding the verification digits in CPF, and checking if a CPF (the other kata) document is valid is something unique, although similar in methodology in verification, but its form is history is unique
