Loading collection data...
Collections are a way for you to organize kata so that you can create your own training routines. Every collection you create is public and automatically sharable with other warriors. After you have added a few kata to a collection you and others can train on the kata contained within the collection.

it was exactly this intention when making this code, to learn the whole base, not just the library of pre-made functions. thanks for your comment
I just started learning python. I don't like using premade functions as a beginner. I'd rather work through an algorithm like you did because I feel using premade functions at my level is kinda pointless if I want to learn to think like a coder.
Thank you for writing the solution this way.
Really, you can do it?
Your suggestion is wrong. You need to maximize the difference, not obtain the difference between two maximums.
Not a suggestion. Find a faster solution.

Please, somebody delete this kata or rewrite the description.
your answer sounds so rude i really don't understand whyWhat did I do so wrong?
Checksum is a very broad topic. What are you even talking about?
Also, if you somehow have the idea that this kata reminds you of Luhn's algorithm (and not other typical "check digit" scheme used by ID cards), this is really a "jokes on you" situation. You're not making any sense.
Please provide any evidence how this has anything to do with the topic in question (about whether this kata is a duplicate).
All in all, this kata is definitely not a duplicate, albeit mediocre and similar to some other existing katas. Is that a problem? Maybe, but that's a kata quality issue, and calling this a duplicate is outright wrong.
I'm actually impressed how this community is kinda toxic. Isn't the point to learn and improve?
There're ways that you can leave a constructive comment, don't need to be rude about it
I actually loved the idea to use the CPF. I think is unfair the way that you guys are reacting and responding. Me, as a Brasilian and developer would like to see more Katas that relates to my reality.
I created this kata thinking about my fourteen year old nephew who is learning programming
I believe he will be much more excited to learn something about his Social Security number than to create an American phone number, as in this famous Kata:
https://www.codewars.com/kata/525f50e3b73515a6db000b83
I believe learning math is not just about doing calculus
I think it's a good argument, because the Brazilian community loves codewars, and it's great to feel represented
The theme may be similar, verification codes, but the algorithms are different
I didn't understand your point about alphabet...
is it interesting to link these other katas and republish this one?
Whether you guys agree or not, the same concept is applied from those two credit card checker katas to solve this one. I immediately thought of those two upon opening the trainer.
Your argument is basically similar as "Owh, I did not find any katas related to Russian / Brazilian / Dutch alphabet to English's 1-1 mapping", hence you publish those katas and they become a duplicate of this one (As you guys claimed: "Yes, the language is different so it's not a dup", while the truth is identical solutions can be used to solve the task.... ~~
