Loading collection data...
Collections are a way for you to organize kata so that you can create your own training routines. Every collection you create is public and automatically sharable with other warriors. After you have added a few kata to a collection you and others can train on the kata contained within the collection.
Get started now by creating a new collection.
Ruby translation kumited, please check (and approve :-))
I think it's pretty obvious your old solution resets the index at the first match and begins counting from 0 from after it (since the second
o
is index 2 with respect to the letter after the firsto
, if it were considered index 0). Can't confirm because it seems you've changed the answer eventually. Please try to be more helpful with your questions next time and specify your language, etc.Incorrect answer for str="Hello world!!!" symbol=o
Expected: equal to 7
Actual: 2
??? wt?
The description is shared between translations, so you would need to update it just once. Also, I think the case sensitive thing might be obvious for you but there aren't examples in the sample test cases which would make it obvious to someone that tries it for the first time. Just a suggestion though, do as you like
The function's name inside the code block varies from one language to another (and in some of the languages the function's name inside the code block is not equal to the one to implement, for example in C# the function's name in the code block is second_symbol but the function to implement is SecondSymbol). You either update all the blocks or, even better, don't use the function's name inside the description at all. You could write something like:
This would avoid completely situations like the one of the C# translation
The description does not depend on the language! If you think the description is incorrect - please explain why?
Respectfully, Oleg!
I didn't think there would be any confusion about register sensitivity when I created the Kata, and the description seemed pretty obvious to me. But why didn't you make this suggestion at the beta testing stage? If I understand correctly - when editing Kata at this stage, I will need to make changes to all translations!
Respectfully, Oleg!
The description should be language agnostic
thank you for the translation
Haskell translation for approval
Go ahead, also not a kata suggestion
thank you very much mate, I wish you the best of luck in your professional career as well

Hello) Don't worry, everything is fine! I am also just learning how to program and also make a lot of mistakes. You are a great fellow, because you are learning and making attempts to write code! I am sure that over time you will be able to become a professional in your field. Don't stop learning and enjoy the process. Good luck ;)
