Loading collection data...
Collections are a way for you to organize kata so that you can create your own training routines. Every collection you create is public and automatically sharable with other warriors. After you have added a few kata to a collection you and others can train on the kata contained within the collection.
Get started now by creating a new collection.
The original code was not really currying.
I understand the desire to support metric as well as imperial. If I get a moment to step away from my project today or tomorrow i will add that as an option, though it will probably make the current submissions invalid.
We're back to that same error message again. I approved the python translation and this one gave me the error about the description. Take a look and perhaps do a copy and paste. I will refrain from making any edits to the main kata description ;)
Perhaps not, and per me second comment I could take it out if that would be best.
Maybe it would be best just to take that out. Thoughts?
Take a look at the new description and let me know if that makes more sense.
That did it! It's approved and I updated the main description so that it didn't have the header language headers. Let me know if there's anything else that we need to do for the description on this one.
I see the changes now and you're right, the diff is all green...[Approve] >click< --> error message again. I think starting one fresh might be the answer. I will approve it right away once it is in there.
OK, you've saved it but I think you need to also publish it because I don't see anything different and I still get the error. I think that's just a publish to update the Kumite which will allow me to see the save you just made. At that point I bet I will be able to approve.
I still can't approve this one.
I keep getting the error message, "Description cannot be approved, recent changes from related record must be merged first."
The two translations you made on my other kata went through without any issues. I've tried the exact same steps for this translation and it still isn't working. I am thinking it might be my fualt for having made edits to the description on the main project after approving the ruby translation. I will not touch that anymore. Maybe one last copy and paste from the main project's description into your python translation will do it?
Please forgive my ignorance, this is the first kata of mine to get approved and translated. I cannot see a place where merge is even an option. I created a forked version of your translation in an effort to see if that's how a merge was supposed to be done. Is there documentation for the merge process on codewars.com that I am not aware of?
I can't approve this one. I get the following error: "Description cannot be approved, recent changes from related record must be merged first."
Also of note, since the code blocks appeard the same to users I placed the language name in there as well. I think you will need to merge things and if you could, for this one, put python above the python code block example that would be all I ask.
This one has been updated. I'll get the rest of my kata's updated too ;)
In my head those are synonyms, but you're right. It's best to be explicit. I've updated the description of the kata. Feel free to approve at your earliest convenience. If waiting till it is translated to the other languages would be best then let's do that.
Thanks, I am glad you enjoyed the kata.
