There is no implication that each side should be equal. The exact statement is
index N where the sum of the integers to the left of N is equal to the sum of the integers to the right of N. There is even an example of a "Lopsided" solution in the description. Your suggestion would only add more confusion to a problem that is simple at its core. Thanks for the suggestion though.The description is misleading, if you say left and right it implies that the two are split in the middle and not loopsided. Please fix the description. It should say sum starting from the left side and sum starting from the right side.
