Collections are a way for you to organize kata so that you can create your own training routines. Every collection you create is public and automatically sharable with other warriors. After you have added a few kata to a collection you and others can train on the kata contained within the collection.

After pondering your reply and playing around in python with this, I realize my less-than-elegant solution would fail too. Thanks for bringing this up! It's the kind of gotcha that can slip through a simple reading. Duly noted!
Nice. But are the breaks needed? Wouldn't the function return immediately and the breaks would never be reached?

Mind blown...
I have no problem with your solution, I like it!
But I did notice it fails for lower case letters. Lower case notation in music is rare, but there are those people who have systems using lower case letters.
Anyway, this is not a criticism, just a pondering of musical edge cases.
I think your solution was really elegant.
Elegant.
I would just like to say on my own behalf, "What a convoluted mess compared to the best practice solution. Noted."
I wanted to reivist this because it kept bugging me.
